Data processed
SAFE may process your account data, trusted contacts, session information you enter, configured zones, and your location only when you allow it. Audio and video recordings remain local unless you choose to share them.
Heart rate in sports alerts
With your consent, the latest available heart rate and its timestamp are sent to SAFE and your sports alert recipients using the chosen contact channels. No full heart rate history is shared. Messages already sent cannot be withdrawn.
A watch heart rate does not confirm that someone is alive, conscious or out of danger. Contact emergency services if concerned, without waiting for a reading. Sharing is a snapshot, not live monitoring.
Purposes and permissions
Data is used to provide the requested safety features: sessions, reminders, voluntary location sharing, maps, recording and notifications. Location, camera, microphone and notification permissions are optional and can be withdrawn in phone settings.
Recipients and retention
Your contacts receive information only when you trigger or confirm the intended sharing. Some data may be processed by technical providers needed to operate SAFE. The publisher must finalise retention periods and the full list of processors before publication.
Your rights
Depending on applicable regulations, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, object to processing and withdraw consent. You may also contact the competent data protection authority.

SAFE uses safeguards provided by the operating system and its service providers. No internet transmission can be guaranteed risk-free; protect your phone and credentials, and verify recipients before sharing.
